Premarin is one of the most common hormonal drugs used as effective medication to treat post menopausal problems. Premarin is effective at a dosage as low as 0.3 mg tablets. It is available in the forms like cream, tablet and jelly, but it is not yet established which of the forms poses more risk of adverse side effects. Adult prescribed daily dosage of Premarin generic or conjugate estrogens is 0.3 mg to 1.25 mg. The maximum recommended at a stretched continuity of treatment is 3 weeks.
